Pawlenty seizes on breath analyer to combat drunk driving
A proposal to make tougher DWI laws is now heading to house for approval. Gov. Pawlenty wants to see tougher DWI laws in involve a breath analyer system in vehicles that would be contected to ignition system. Drunk drivers that have been convicted for a second or third time would have to this system install that there expense if they would like to be able to drive and not lose their license like before. This system would be a good way to widen the Drunk Driving laws and hopefully cut back on drunk driving repets and deaths in the state.

ReplyDeleteThis article is very interesting. I think this definitely would be an excellent idea. DWI is a serious problem that needs to be faced. It would help those who would drink and drive to stop and think about what they were doing and if the consequences would really be worth it.

• Before you use an acronym like DWI, you need to tell the reader what it stands for. The sentence should have been like this: ... tougher driving while intoxicated (DWI) laws... Of course, that wouldn't work with this sentence and it would need to be rewritten slightly to read nicely.
• Misspelled connected
• Missing article (the or an) before ignition system
• Should be installed
• Missing at before there
• Should be their not there
• Misspelled repeats
• The last sentence is opinion and needs to be attributed
• Drunk driving in the last sentence doesn't need to be capitalized

ReplyDeleteI also read this article; very interesting. Tougher DWI laws would be a great movement. It is a rising problem and would make the ones who drink and drive realize how serious it really is to the drivers around them.

ReplyDeleteThis article is very intersting. And I had wrote a similar article just a few days ago on drunk driving and the people who cause the accidents. Very good idea on blogging about it!! It is a huge issue that needs to be discussed!
